Tree Commando Inc. ("Tree Commando," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
1.1 From Operators (Tree Service Businesses): Account information (name, email, phone, business name); payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers); usage data (quotes requested, feedback submitted); communications with us. 1.2 From Customers (Property Owners): Contact information (name, phone, email) which is shared with the Operator; property address; photographs and videos of trees and property; property measurements and descriptions; GPS/location metadata from photos. 1.3 Automatically Collected: Device information (browser type, operating system); IP address and approximate location; usage patterns and analytics; cookies and similar technologies.
2.1 To Provide the Service: Generate quotes from photos and videos; share customer information with their selected tree service provider; process payments and manage accounts; communicate about the service. 2.2 To Improve the Service: Refine our proprietary quoting methodology using submitted photos and job outcome feedback; analyze quote accuracy; develop new features and services. 2.3 For Business Operations: Detect and prevent fraud; enforce our terms of service; comply with legal obligations; protect our rights and safety.
3.1 With Operators: Customer submission information (including photos, contact information, and property details) is shared with the tree service operator who generated the submission link. 3.2 Service Providers: We share information with third-party service providers who assist in operating our service, including: Stripe (payment processing); Supabase (data storage); Google (maps and geocoding); Render (hosting); and other technology providers necessary to deliver the Service. 3.3 Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process. 3.4 Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred.
Customer photos: 180 days from submission. Customer videos: 90 days from submission. Quote data: 2 years. Operator account data: Duration of account plus 3 years. Payment records: 7 years (legal requirement). Aggregated and anonymized data: Indefinitely.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest; access controls and authentication; regular security assessments; employee training. However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
6.1 Access and Portability: You may request a copy of your personal information. 6.2 Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate information. 6.3 Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements. 6.4 Opt-Out: You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. 6.5 California Residents: California residents have additional rights under the CCPA.
